Glitter kit, my ass.

So, I just got done dying easter eggs with my little brother (he’s eight) and my mom bought the sparkle egg dye kit. Well, let me tell you, there was not much sparkle to it. I feel sorely dissapointed and I’m half tempted to write Pass and complain. I ended up having to bust out my Wet n’ Wild body glitter and improvising. Only problem is… now I have glitter everywhere. On my face, hands, somehow in between my toes, even under my fingernails. And it won’t come off!

Eh, oh well.

Last night Stan took Ray, Mike, and me to the baseball game. And man oh man, was it a good game. So freakin’ close. The final score was 6 to 5, but in the top of the ninth inning, the other team hit a home run tying the score. We just happened to hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth to win the game. It was so nice out last night too. It didn’t get chilly like I expected it to. Very awesome.

Anyway, I’m gonna get going to see if I can’t get at least some of this glitter off me.

Dude… it’s glitter. It never comes off. You’re permanently glitter’d.

Also - did you get my message? I’m so confused as to how the CVS card works.. I don’t get discounts right there and then? Or.. I don’t know. I’m confused…

Isn’t glitter fun? ;) I have fond memories of wearing it for make-up and even with being careful, it’d be everywhere - all over me, the house, the car.
Blech.
Happy Easter! :)

This is why I don’t touch glitter. It’s like a little girly leach. It attaches on to you and it won’t go away until it has sucked all the intelligence out of you and turns you into a Paris Hilton. Gah! *cringes*

And yay for baseball. We have a minor league team in our city, so I catch a game every now and then…but it makes me sad because I always go with my icky cousin and not my hot Ashley. *cries*

*squish*

I’ve also had bad experiences with the glitter easter egg thing…I think false advertising pretty much sums it up, because my eggs looked NOTHING like the cute little shiney eggs on the package T_T

I’m always disappointed when it comes to Easter egg dying. The colors are never as vibrant and pretty as they are on the box. But glitter…now THAT would be exciting. Too bad that’s just as disappointing. Nice job improvising, though…good luck getting all that glitter off. That stuff’s usually a pain in the ass. :)
