[Edit] I forgot to mention that I’m looking for a second job. I’m just not making enough money at CVS. I don’t have any plans on leaving there because well, I love my crew. I’ve never worked with a better one, but living paycheck to paycheck isn’t really working out for me. So I was thinking about getting a waitressing job. But last night Jason mentioned that his work (it’s a vet) is going to be looking for another part time receptionist. I applied there a while ago hoping for a second job, but they weren’t hiring at the time. Anyway, Jason said he’s going to talk to the boss and whatnot and tell them they should call me. So here’s hoping -crosses fingers- [/Edit]
So Easter was cool. Except for the fact that Ray came into my room at 8:30 in the morning wanting me to get up and look for Easter eggs with him. I was like omg wtf? NO! It’s 8:30 in the morning. Let me sleep! But no, he had to get me out of bed. So what did I do? I stole most of the eggs and only let him find a few of them. I am evil, but dammit, do not wake me up at such an ungodly hour. Fo’ real.
I worked the second half of the day on Easter, it was pretty slow, but we were buisier than we were last year. Leigh Ann stopped in with her son, Jayden, and I played with him for a little bit while she was shopping. So she was getting ready to leave and she mentioned that she had her dog in the car, so I went out to go see it. And I went to go pet him and he freaked out and bit me. I was like AH! As the result of that encounter I have a nice gash in my finger, a hole through my fingernail, and a nice little cut on my knuckle. It hurts. I’ll leave it at that. She felt so bad, I kept telling her not to worry about it, things like that happen. It’s not like she knew the dog was gonna bite me. She would have stopped me if she knew that. And my finger is not going to fall off, nor do I need stitches or anything. So no need to worry. But damn, does it hurt. lol I was totally freaked out though because I thought that my nail might fall off because I had all kinds of blood under it, but most of that drained out through the hole, so I think my nail is going to be fine. -sigh of relief-
