Obviously, new layout. I think it’s sexy. You probably do too. If you don’t well, then you suck. Yeah, no modesty. I like it. I’m proud of it.

Anywho. Father’s day. Mine was unique. I spent time with my soon-to-be stepdad, Stan. And then took flowers to my father’s grave. It was weird. Every other time I’ve been down there (It’s been almost ten years since he passed.) I haven’t had a problem with it. I never really cried a lot. But yesterday, when I went down, it was weird. I just started bawling. It was just weird feeling.

On the way home from there, I did a lot of thinking. I really think it was good for me. I’m just going to leave that at that. Details later. Promise.

And because I haven’t plugged it in awhile… join my fanlisting.

[Edit] Okay, because this blog is lacking some substance… lets play a game. I want you to pick one word you would use to describe me. (Even if it’s your first time here!) And then tell me why. [/Edit]

[Edit (Again)] So yeah, I just spent the better part of 45 minutes locked out my house. See, our lock on our basement door (We don’t use the front, in fact, no one in the house even has a key to it.) died so we had to get a new one. Well this new lock, you can open it from inside while it’s still locked. And yeah, stupid me, went out to grab the mail, DIDN’T think about the fucking door. I locked myself out barefoot, in my pajamas. I tried all of the windows on the bottom floor, all locked. I climbed on the roof, those locked too. UGH. So I walked across the street to ask the neighbor if I could use the phone (No one is home besides me.) Yeah, they weren’t home. Neither were any of my other neighbors. So I ended up walking down the street to Jason’s house praying that someone was home there. (I had a feeling Mrs. Cheryl and Mr. Gino wouldn’t be.) but I was REALLY REALLY hoping that either Jason or Chris would be. And thank god, they were both there. Jason opened the door and looked at me, sporting Mike’s polar bear boxers and the t-shirt I had on last night, barefoot, and just gave me this look, like wtflol. He was like, “What’s wrong?” I was like, Dude, I locked myself out of the house. Like a dumbass. I need to use your phone. So I called my grandparents, and they brought over a front door key. So much love to both Jason and my grandparents. [/Edit]

I agree. This layout is definitely sexy. Oh baybeh. I really like it. You should be proud!

Sorry about your father’s day. My best friend’s dad died 6 years ago as of yesterday, which made her weekend rather horrible. It’s okay to cry, though.

Hope you’re doing well!

This new theme is nice, very bold.

I think you bawled the way you did because of the time you spent with Stan, this probably hit a chord with you that made you realize just how much you miss your own father.

That’s just how I see it though. I do hope you feel better though hon.

Sexay layout indeed. I lurve eet. It’s awesomeness personified. ^^

*hugs* I don’t doubt that you miss your dad, especially on Father’s Day. I am glad that visiting his grave did you a bit of good.

One word to describe you? I only get the one? Hrm… *ponders*

BOLD.

Not only does your boldness show itself in your webdesign but in your words. You’re never ashamed to say what’s on your mind, regardless of the topic. It’s almost “in your face” but without being obnoxious or rude.

How’s that? :)

WOOT! New layout! I’m so excited for you… since I can’t make one. LOL! Good for you, Ashley.

Father’s Day bums me out badly because my father, the “sperminator”, ran out on my family before I was born… so I’ve never really had a father. It sucks much ass. I can’t say which is worse… but I know why that day blows ass.

If I had to describe you in one word… umm… can I have two?

Mysteriously Eventual

I would’ve said “cool” instead of “eventual”, but I think eventual sounds so much more awesome. Anyways, yeah, you’re like cool in this mysterious, hip sort of way. Like jazz and blues… there’s something very sophisticated and just plain neato about you. There. It’s been said.

I think I’m going to start a collection of stories about people getting locked out of their houses. I’m pretty sure everyone and their mother has done it before.

OMG! I hate those locks. We have them on our house… well, when we first moved in, I locked myself out about 5 dozen times, but there was always someone home to let me back in. Well, one day, I had just taken a shower and noticed that the garbage needed to be taken out. So I did that. Only, I couldn’t get back in. So, there I was, wet hair, barefoot, and it was the middle of winter. I went around my house, twice, checking all the windows because my lame ass can’t go to the neighbors… I was scared of them. LOL! So then, finally I gave in because I was cold and I went over there. I got looks. I called my grandma and she said she was a minute down the road. And I’m like… Ugh! And that’s my story.

Aw Ashley, like you said, it is good to think about things once in awhile and let out whatever you feel inside. The layout is sexy, I have to agree. :) And hmm one word to desribe you would be… kind. You seem to be willing to help friends in need so it works. I’ll stop talking now.

I agree. It is very sexy. I would tap it.

For your word, I choose perfume. Because I just think you smell nice.

I lock myself out of the house all the time. Not a fun feeling.
