She’s right. Money does make people happy. They may not realize it, but oh it does. And let me tell you, money right now, would make me VERY happy.

My car broke… again. Sort of, it’s still driveable, but driving it a lot could seriously kill it. For those of you who aren’t familar with me and my cars history, well… I’ll summerize. I’ve had the car for about three years now. It’s a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM (American cars SUCK!), so it’s not very old.

Anyway, it was my mother’s car before mine. When she had it it broke a few times, not tons, but a few. (cooling system, power steering, head gasket, starter - replaced) Since I’ve gotten the car… alternater, cooling system x3 (and it’s leaking again!), thermostat, power steering, head gasket, hose, brakes x2, tires x2, and now one of my cylinders is misfiring. So instead of running off six, I’m running off five. Roughly… $200. (I’m not getting the cooling system fixed, can’t afford it.) So this is going to bring the total amount of money I’ve put into the car to about $5000. I could have half bought a new car.

I don’t have the money to fix it. Stan’s spotting me the money and I’m going to pay him back. It’s still killing me though. I really can’t afford any of this. Stupid car. -kicks it- At this rate I’ll never get a new one. It’s a vicious, vicious cycle.

So yeah, money would make me very happy.

New layout. Still needs some kinks worked out of it, so forgive me if you run into any. I need to get ready for work in like 5 minutes and don’t have time to work them out just yet. I think it’s mostly alright though.

Hershey Park was pretty fun. It was incredibly hot though. I had sweat pouring down my face the entire day. Gross. It was fun though. We watched my cousin Derrick play some of his sets (he’s working there for the summer and hooked Mike and me up with some free tickets). During one of those sets the giant kit kat bar made me get up and dance with it. Yeah really, I’m not kidding. I have a picture. I just need to get it developed. By the end of the day though I was totally ready to go home. I was gross and sweaty and a little sunburnt. Nothing like the last sunburn though. Yay for being some native american! Once I burn once I’ll burn just a little and it will fade into a tan within hours. I miss being pale though. All my clothes look weird on me when I have a tan. lol

Anyway, time to go work :(

Sooo at work tonight, I managed to do something pretty fucking stupid if you ask me. Amy and I were putting a desk together for our back to school display and I was looking for a screw so I was crawling around on the floor and I managed to hit a thumbtacky nail sort of thing. Anyway, the sucker went straight into my wrist (right in between like eighty million veins thank god) and stay there. Kinda hurts, a bit. I am SO talented.

Besides that, with my Mother and Stan’s wedding coming up (September 29th) I’ve decided I definitely need to lose a few more pounds so that I can look super hot in my super hot dress. Ha. I need to get rid of some of the flab on my arms. So I think that I’m going to go join the gym by my work, Ronnie said that he’ll hook me up with an awesome deal so it should be affordable. I wanna try pilates or something. I dunno. I need to start working out. I’m in freaking terrible shape.

I also want to take ballroom dancing. They’re opening up a studio in my shopping center for that as well and I think it would be neat. Besides, Mike said he would take lessons with me. :) So I think that would be fun.

Gah I had so many things I wanted write and now I can’t remember half of them. I think I want to redo some of the sections on the site again. I’m just not sure what I want to do with them yet. So we’ll see on that one. I’m currently in the works on getting my portfolio and a new photos section up. The one I had over at L-S decided that it wanted to not let me upload photos anymore. How nice of it, yeah? So I installed a 4images gallery and I’m uploading photos when I get the time. I currently have about a quarter of all my photos uploaded. Mostly the newer ones. It’s just a bitch trying to find them all on my computer. I’ve moved so much stuff around that I haven’t the slightest idea as to where half of it is.
