This week has been pretty hectic. At least I feel like it has. Stan and I have been trying to get this car affair in order. We found a car for me. It’s a 2003 black Mitsubishi Eclipse, 33,000 miles for $11,900 to get on the road. And it still has a warrenty. Which is hot. Seriously, it’s so hot, it’s burning you right now.

So anyway, we took my car down to get an appraisal on it, which was definitely less than I thought it was going to be, but I realize that my car is a piece of shit right now, so I really wasn’t expecting that much for a trade in anyway. I was thinking probably around $1000, they offered us $600. Which takes care of basically the title, tags, and registration. Which kinda pisses me off, the fucking stereo system in that car is worth half of that. So I’m pulling that bitch out and putting the stock one back in. The CD player on that doesn’t work, but whatever, that’s what they’ll get for that $600. Then I’ll just save my stereo until the warrenty is up and put it in my new car. =)

We haven’t officially traded it in yet though, we’re going to see if Carmax will offer us more for it. (Which I don’t think they will.) And Stan had a mechanic he knows who said he would be interested in looking at it. It would be cheap for him to fix, so that might work out. Even if he offers us a couple hundred more for it, that’s still better than nothing.

But either way, here’s to hoping I have my car by the end of the week. -fingers crossed-
