So Mike and I were heading to meet up with Jay and Dan tonight, we were thirsty so we were going to stop at the 7-11. It’s like 10:00 o’clock at night and there is still a decent amount of people out down that way.

So I’m waiting to turn into the parking lot and there are these two really REALLY sketch looking black kids standing in the middle of where you turn in. I was getting all sorts of bad vibes to begin with, but I figured it was just me being overly paranoid about everything.

So I get my chance to turn and I start to, but now the kid is standing so that it’s hard for me to pull my car through. And I’m watching closely and something grabs my eye.

… a fucking gun in his waistband.

Let me tell you, I hauled ass out of there. I hate Baltimore.

Holy Sheet, woman! I am so glad you noticed that gun before it was too late. Did you call the cops? I can’t imagine how freaked out you must have been at that moment, wow. *hugs*

Haha! Baltimore is awwwwful. We used t go down there to the aquarium a lot. That’s a really scary situation, but I would have called the cops if I were you, because then they could have gotten there as the robbery was happening (if that’s what they planned to do) and busted those dudes.

The fuck? That irritates me. I mean, yeah, it would probably have scared the living jesus out of me, but, seriously, what kind of a world do we live in when fuckers just walk around with guns in their waistbands? You know what pisses me off more… that gun probably wasn’t used in a robbery. Do you know what I mean? He probably just had it because he was a gang banger or some shit. That pisses me off more. Actually, I’m just plain pissed off. I forgot my meds last night… GRRRRR…

And I miss you. Call me some time, lulmonkey.

Nice layout!
But wtf? I’d be so scared? It seems so easy to get a gun these days. Reminds me of Bowling for Columbine… I’ve never seen anyone carry around a gun, except for policemen…

See?! Being paranoid is a good thing sometimes! I’m glad you saw that when you did and were able to get away before anything bad happened. Gotta trust women’s intuition.

Holy crap. This sort of thing never really happens here in North East London, so I can’t really put myself in your shoes - but I can imagine that was wholly terrifying! Thank Goddess guns are illegal here. But unfortunately, some people in the rougher areas still use them - sometimes with cataclysmical results. :(
Thankyou for your support and kindness on my blog entry in memory of my Onion. I know that, as much as I do, he appreciates everything you said. I bet he particularly liked the fact you said he was “beautiful” but he’d remind you not to state the blatantly obvious! *lol*
Please pop by to P-R.com someday. The internet, and indeed the world, needs more like-minded individuals with hearts as warm and kind as yours. :)

Holy shit. I have never seen a real gun before. It’s really rare to find guns in my country. There are a lot of toy guns around though. The ones that look similar to a real gun. But even those are illegal =S

Wow. That must’ve been fun. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a real gun before. Not entirely, anyway.

I need more excitement in my life. Not that kind, though.

Wow, that’s pretty scary! I’ve never even seen a real gun. We have very, very, VERY hard restricitons when it comes to guns in Sweden.

Yikes! I don’t know what I would have done in that situation… I hate guns (although my dad has a few - but they’re for sports).

I would have hauled ass out of there too. Holy crap. Some people have no respect for other people, you know? He was probably purposely making it hard for you to turn in to see if you would do/say anything to give him a reason to use his gun. Stupid punks.

You see that a lot here. Each person here is allowed to own 15 guns per person and you can walk into most places with your gun as long as it isn’t concealed (like sticking it in the waistband of your pants). And people take full advantage of each of those laws.

Craaaaazy.
