So I hope everyone had a happy new year and all that fun stuff. My new years was pretty awesome. Mike and I spent it at Dan’s house. Your typical new year, I suppose. People hanging out getting drunk. Actually, we kind of missed new years. Everyone’s phones said that it was 11:59 and we went to turn on the ball drop and yeah, it already dropped. Yeah, that was my eventful new years. w00t.

So the past week or so I’ve had this nasty horrible illness. I still have it. I still feel like shit. It’s going away though. Actually, it’s very similar to the plague Elyse had. Minus the vomiting. I think it’s bronchitis. Wouldn’t surprise me, that seems to be the only illness I ever end up with. You would think that by now I’d have the most awesome immune system ever. You know, being as I work around sick people all the fucking time. But I spent my sick time well, I played lots and lots of video games and got a ton of sleep. Around working that is. But I beat Assassin’s Creed, which I have to say was so fucking bad ass. I absolutely loved it. I’ve got a few new games to play now. I’ve only been playing that one and Halo. Halo mainly to use my new wireless headset that Mike bought me. Oh and he bought me Tetris. Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I fucking love Tetris. And that I am so freaking good at it. Oh yeah modesty.

So Tuesday I leave for Arizona for a week. I’m going to miss my xbox. I’m such a loser. haha. It’s cool though, I’m really excited. I can’t wait to see my family and my sisters. And especially the baby. I am really really excited about seeing the baby.

Oh yeah, new layout. Working on a major revamp of the whole site. I tend to do that every couple months to try and keep things fresh.

Anyway, that’s it. Just wanted to do a quick update so everyone didn’t think I was dead or something.

So yeah, Merry Christmas and all that jazz. I made out awesomely this year.

I got some pretty snazzy stuff this year. Including…

- 500 GB external hard drive
- Assassin’s Creed for 360
- Elder Scrolls Oblivion for 360
- Boots
- A nice pant suit
- PJs
- 2 shirts

I am seriously happy about what I got. My mom did awesome this year. I still have to go to my grandmothers, but she always gives me like $100 every year. Which is very awesome. I love money too. But anyway yeah, I’m gonna go play Xbox now. :)

So the last week has wound down a bit. Sort of. I’m prepping for finals, which equates to lots and lots of studying. (With some Xbox in between… ) Actually it hasn’t been too bad. I’ve been working and doing the school thing during the day, hanging out with Mike some at night, and then coming home and studying for awhile. I need to be ready to take this math final. I hate math. I struggle at math. I don’t like to struggle with things. It irritates me. Oh the perfectionist!

Other than that, I talked to my father the other night. Made arrangements to go out to Arizona and visit in January. I’m really excited about that. Angee had a baby back in July and I can’t wait to see me new nephew. He’s so cute. I’ve been snagging pictures from Leasa and Angee myspace pages. Not to mention going out there in January means warmer weather. I can’t stand the cold. My hands and feet get cold really easily. And don’t seem to warm up for anything. I’ve been frozen for about three weeks now. Even with the heat and multiple socks on. My mother says it’s quite possible that I’m anemic. Could be. Don’t have insurance to go to the doctor to find out. Not really concerned with it honestly. I’ve grown used to being cold constantly when November hits. It’s like that until the end of April. I deal.

Oh! Saturday night Mike and I helped move Paul and Megan into their new house. It was… interesting, to say the least. Their mattress wouldn’t fit up the staircase. We tried EVERYTHING. Until eventually we figured that the only way it would fit would be to fold it in half…

Which you know, isn’t that easy. They don’t like to stay folded in half. So we tried plastic wrap to keep it folded in half.

Yeah, that didn’t work. At all. haha.

BUT! I tell you, we are smart individuals. So as Mike, Megan, and I are all holding this mattress in half, Paul gets this brilliant idea of using the ties from the truck. They have cranks on them, to get them tighter and hold them together. For keeping stuff on the truck. They also work to keep a queen sized mattress folded in half. God, if anyone could have seen us doing this. It would have been hysterical. Four people with this huge mattress in this tiny kitchen, full of boxes, fighting to get this mattress to stay folded. It still makes me smirk thinking about it. But we kicked that mattresses ass. And got it up the steps.

Okay, I know I’ve been neglecting my site. I honestly can’t help myself though. I’ve been busy with other stuff. School and things like that. And a crazy amount of x-box in there.

We went and saw VNV Nation on Tuesday night. And wow! It was freaking awesome. I seriously, seriously loved it. Such an awesome time. Still makes me giddy thinking about it.

My Thanksgiving was pretty lame. I had to work three to ten. I volunteered for the shift though, so I can’t really complain. But yeah, CVS sucks a big one for keeping us open that late. It was so stupid, we didn’t even have anyone come in really. Like two people. Who wanted Pharmacy. Which closed at two. -shakes head- CVS has absolutely no logic.

Oh! And I finally made a new layout for the site. (Obviously) I’ve been trying for months now, but kept coming up with nothing. But I really like this. It’s kinda soft, but edgy looking.

And here’s a piece of artwork I did not too long ago that turned out pretty good…

So yeah, that’s it. Halo has eaten my soul.
